Knowledge and Skills
- Preferred: High school diploma
- 1 year of experience in warehouse and freight logistics
- Certification to operate various material-handling equipment
- Minimum: 2 years of experience in manufacturing and medium to high production
Accountabilities
- A. (35%) Perform general physical activities to manufacture product and assist with assembly and packaging.
- While adhering to policies and procedures, as well as health and safety and regulatory requirements, operate
- related tools and machines including but not limited to welding to fabricate, store raw materials and
- component products in the appropriate area of the warehouse and appropriate shop to be utilized for further
- fabrication or sale. Attention to safety, accuracy and efficiency is paramount.
- B. (40%) Execute the selection of product on behalf of customers and Management.
- Fulfill work orders either manually or by using other documentation as supplied by the Purchasing department
- and immediate supervisor. Adhere to health and safety and regulatory compliance and be focused on the
- accuracy and efficiency of execution. May need to perform cycle counts from time to time as requested by
- Management as well as bi-annual inventory counts which may be held on weekends.
- C. (25%) Perform general physical activities to prepare and execute orders for shipping.
- To effectively ship product for clients, assemble products, package accordingly as per shipping documents,
- the product and prepare for delivery in the staging area. Verify count and documentation before physical
- forwarding the product. Adhere to health and safety and regulatory compliance. Maintain accuracy and
- efficiency throughout the end-to-end process
