Under the direction of the Shop Supervisor and with safety, productivity, and customer service a priority, the Welder uses a variety of tools, machines, and storage devices to fabricate, move, select, and store products and materials to be inventoried in the warehouse to meet client shipment requirements as well as standard inventory levels. Welders operate welding equipment to weld ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This unit group also includes machine operators who operate hand tools required to assist in the fabrication of welded products.
